Page 1 of 3 While ESers are always trying to make Jesus known to their friends and peers at Uni mission week is a time when we really try to engage the entire campus with the message of Jesus. It’s a hypothetical question. Of course we can’t prove that God exists using any kind of empirical method. But if we could, would you want us to? What would it mean if there was a God? How would it affect the way you think, act and relate to other people? Is it better not to know? The claim of Christians for nearly 2000 years has been that God has made himself known once and for all through his son Jesus Christ, and that he continues to speak to people today through the message about his son that we call the “Gospel”. During week 4 students at the Magill and Mawson Lakes campuses we’ll be presenting this “Gospel” for anyone who’s interested. So the question remains – do you want to know, or is ignorance bliss? Stay tuned for program details. |
